We went to Sagar Ratna on 31st Aug for lunch, Hemant Gupta was working with us as an Intern in our company. He is a B-Tech (CSE) 2nd year student. He worked on "Sparxsys Issue Tracker" which is an online tool for keeping track of Issues from various clients. He used PHP/MySQL and followed MVC architecture for building this system. Though we internally use JIRA for tracking our backlog and project management but we wanted to have a system for Client also. We have been using Mantis for client issues but it is not suitable for us and we wanted something more customizable for our process.

I am so glad to announce that we recently shifted our office from our homes to Best Sky Towers in Netaji Subhash Place. It was getting really difficult to manage lot of work with just 2 people in the team. We are growing as a company, we hired few people to be part of our team. Working from home is comfortable but when you want to do some serious work you need a workplace where you can closely interact with other members. Having an office certainly increases the work efficiency. Here is our complete address.

Since last year we are working on websites accessible so that that people with disabilities like Visual Impairment can navigate the site with the help of screen readers like JAWS. We got the opportunity to work with one Delhi based NGO who work for Visually Impaired People. We are currently building their Helpdesk Management System using Drupal where they will be able to track the records of the queries they received from all over India. We are also revamping their website.

These days we are busy working on a project that requires the Drupal site to be Accessibile for Visually Disabled persons. This is for the first time we are working on such project and we are really excited to dive into this new domain.

For the past few months I was working on revamping this site. There was nothing wrong with the old site and design but I just felt that I should do something different. On of the biggest reason for this revamp is the use of Omega Theme which I really find amazing theme. Not only it is responsive but it also offers lot of regions to put your content. Not only that you can also create more regions with as ease. Just an awesome theme it is and I just wanted to use it on this site. We at Sparxsys are now diving into Responsive Designs so we should have our official site responsive I guess :)

Its another easiest thing can be added to drupal base site without giving extra effort . Comment field can be added to any type of content type of Drupal . Here we are sharing all steps to add Comment field . here it goes . i) Navigate to the Content types administration page (Administer > Structure > Content types or http://example.com/admin/structure/types). 2) Find the content type for which you'd like to add fields on the comment form, and click "Manage fields" next to it. 3) Click the "Comment fields" tab.

These days I am busy revamping www.ggsipu.info website. Now we are totally focused on our own portals and we are not taking any more client projects. Though I would consider a very good challenging projects. It is a tough decision but we want to do quality work and it was getting mundane for us doing same kind of stuff. Now we are back to doing what we are supposed to do! Drupal training. Yes, now we will also work on creating free Drupal podcasts. We created some podcasts couple of months back but due to clien's projects I was not able to work on it more.
