What is the interview process like at Sparxsys?
- Initial screening: We look at the profile, resume and online presence just to get an idea of whether that person seems suitable or not. We look for any red flags mainly.
- Intro call: We setup a 15-30 mins call to understand the current situation of the person, their motivations and also elaborate the job and the role.
- Technical challenge: We send the candidate a challenge to work on which is mainly writing a Groovy script.
- Technical round: Call to go through the script and the approach.
- We make the offer.
So yeah it is pretty straight forward. We do try to hire after checking these things but at the same time we know that both the candidate and the company needs to give each other time. After few months we usually know whether things are going to work in the future or not.
