We organized a successful Drupal Workshop at Amity School of Engineering & Technology. We reached the venue well ahead of time, surprisingly there was no traffic on Saturday on NH8. The workshop was interactive and most of the students who took part in it showed interest in Drupal. Around 50 students attended this workshop. Though we planned this session for 2 hours only but it took us around 4 hours!

We introduced what Drupal is and what kind of websites Drupal can build. We also discussed when not to use Drupal. Students were curios to know whether Drupal can be used to build a social networking website. So we showed them a small demo and created a website with a blog, forum, multiple users with different rolls, we also created a Poll.

In the end we showed them how to create custom content using Drupal's most powerful modules - CCK and Views.
